French is official language in France. In Addition, French is spoken in Monaco, Luxembourg, some parts of Belgium and Switzerland, Canadian part of Quebec, some parts of North and South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Madagaskar. Moreover, French is one of the official languages in organisations like the European Union, UNESCO, United Nations, the European Monetary Union, etc.

The French language is from the Roman family language group, i.e with Latin origin. As the French Grammar has similar features with the Spanish and Italian ones, it means that if you learn French, you can easily learn some other languages like: Spanish, Italian,etc.
